Founded in 2017 and based in Dallas, Texas, we partner with experienced developers and sponsors, delivering construction loans and bridge financing. We also make direct investments, working closely with operators in sale-leaseback transactions, often alongside mergers and acquisitions.
Built on decades of institutional experience and entrepreneurial vision, STNL Capital combines the speed and flexibility sponsors need with the expertise and execution certainty they demand.

Douglas Colquitt
Founder & Managing Partner
Douglas Colquitt is the founder and Managing Partner of STNL Capital, bringing over 20 years of net lease investment experience across multiple market cycles and property types. Prior to launching STNL Capital, Douglas served as Director of Real Estate for a national net lease fund, where he oversaw all acquisitions, dispositions, and property management. As a key member of the executive team, he played an integral role in growing a large diversified single-tenant net lease retail fund that ultimately went public.
Earlier in his career, Douglas worked with a national single-tenant net lease development business before spending more than a decade at GE Capital’s Franchise Finance and Real Estate divisions. At GE Capital, he developed deep domain expertise in real estate investments, horizontal and vertical development, JV partnerships, debt and equity structuring, and property and asset management. Douglas‘s investment experience spans all real estate product types, with particular specialization in net lease retail, sale-leasebacks, and portfolio management.
